AC Biode was founded in 2019 in Luxembourg and Japan. Since then the company has pushed the boundaries of clean technologies. The company develops patented catalysts and processes for batteries, chemical recycling and more. AC Biode is backed by EIT InnoEnergy, a body of the EU, and already has completed more than 35 proof of concept tests in the automobile, fashion, cable, waste management, and energy industries in Europe and Asia. Some examples of partners include Bosch, Toyota Group, Temasek Foundation, PLN and Daikyo Nishikawa. The chemical laboratory is location in Kyoto, Japan.
