Micro Droplets
Micro Particle Synthesis by forming droplets from materials

To make nanoparticles, it is common to use interfacial polymerization methods (Interfacial cross-linking methods) or emulsion polymerization methods. These methods have challenges of controlling particle sizes and preciseness. There are micro reactors or ink jets that enable particle synthesis of monodisperse. These can only be used with materials of low viscosity (<20cps), but not with microparticles at 10μm or less.
Currently, it is impossible to process of materials of higher viscosity (<100cps). What if it was possible to synthesize these particles with a low variability (<μm)? A technology like this can be used to form micro droplets (atomization), liquid-liquid reactions, emulsion polymerization and potentially other liquids, including biopharmaceuticals.
How it works

With our unique know-how, we made sodium alginate acid 1.5% aqueous solution (50cps) into droplet and atomization
Such materials are injected into calcium chloride liquid and reacted. We then pass the liquid into filtration, extracting calcium alginate acid Microparticles with 0.8μm with a low variance. We can make alginic acid balls including Microparticles or fungus by dispersing them in sodium alginiate liquid Microparticles fungus
