AC Biode signs MoU in presence of Prime Ministers of Japan & Ukraine

At the Japan-Ukraine Conference for Promotion of Economic Growth and Reconstruction AC Biode´s CEO Tadashi Kubo signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of

H.E. Mr. Denys SHMYHAL, Prime Minister of Ukraine, and
H.E. Mr. Fumio KISHIDA, Prime Minister of Japan, among others.

The agreement sets out a strategy in which AC Biode will supply emergency housing for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Emergency houses can be shipped easily, set up in only a few hours, and last for 5-10 years in any weather condition. Emergency houses are used increasingly in disaster-affected areas, such as last year´s earthquake in Turkey.

Further, AC Biode will contribute to the recycling of agricultural waste in the Ukraine. Currently Ukraine is unable to access 20% of its agricultural lands as a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion, and the agricultural industry as a whole operates in precarious circumstances exacerbated by war. The projects are funded by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries – 農林水産省 – Japan.
