Known as an industrial city in Taiwan with a long history, Kaohsiung aspires to a revolution from a traditional industrial city to a brand-new smart city.
The first Kaohsiung’s Call for Global Solutions on Green Transitions for Industrial Cities reaches its final stage. Following a rigorous evaluation of all submissions, AC Biode was selected among the winners by a global panel of influential climate leaders, academics and practitioners. Congratulations to the 15 proposals selected as winners in three categories that recognize the best urban initiatives led by public and private partners that accelerate sustainable energy, promote green living, strengthen urban resilience, showcase innovative climate solutions, and demonstrate how to build climate movements in cities. The initiative also provides case studies of urban climate leadership in diverse global contexts that can be learned from and replicated to create greener and more resilient cities.
As such AC Biode is joining the Smart City Summit & Expo in Kaohsiung in March.
